About the schemes

Charlotte Court was opened in 1984. It is a category 2 sheltered scheme with a resident scheme manager and a 24 hour emergency alarm system. It is a scheme designed for Jewish people over the age of 60 years. There are twenty-three independent one bedroom flats plus a communal lounge, kitchen and laundry.

Charlotte Court is situated in Clarence Avenue a few minutes walk from Gants Hill tube station and is handy for transport, shops, Beehive Lane Synagogue and local services.

Abraham Cohen Court was completed in May 2003. There are 6 one bedroom flats and 5 two bedroom flats on three floors. There is a lift and a secure door entry system. The scheme is designed for Jewish residents.

There are no resident staff or communal facilities but there is some support from the scheme manager at Charlotte Court and inclusion in its’ social gatherings.
