As of 12 September 2007, IDS have become a Client Associate of the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA). This has been established through partnership with the

National Housing Federation. The ECA provide online advice regarding the latest regulations and safety standards for electrical installations. IDS intend to employ a full time electrician in the near future.
