IDS was established as the Four Per Cent Dwellings Company
in 1885 by a group of Jewish philanthropists who hoped to
relieve the overcrowding in homes in the East End of London.

In 1952, it became the Industrial Dwellings Society (1885) Ltd.

Local Offer 2012The Tenants Forum have been working on the 'Local Offer' for the year April 2012 - March 2013. This has been approved by the forum and will be presented to the Board at the next meeting. The offer sets out the level of service expected from IDS and how this is monitored. Local Offer - Quarterly Report October

Following the the introduction of the six standards by Tenants Service Authority, IDS will present a quarterly report to monitor
