| Bernard Myers, former Managing Director of Rothschild Bank, has been elected Chairman of the London-based housing association, IDS. He takes over from Tony Hitman, who remains as a Board member.
Bernard Myers has served on the IDS Board since 1997 and, for the last year, has held the position of Vice Chairman, a role now held by Robin Ellison, National Head of Pensions at Eversheds Solicitors. Bernard Myers is heavily involved in Jewish and community activities and his other roles include being Assistant Governor of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Chairman of the Wingate Youth Trust and Chairman of the Harrow Citizens Advice Bureau.
