Head of Governance
Full time, Permanent role, Hybrid and flexible
Salary: £74,148 per annum per year
Are you passionate about corporate governance and want to make a real impact? We’re looking for a dynamic individual to serve as the professional lead for all aspects of corporate governance. In this role, you’ll ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, keeping us up-to-date and advising on any changes or developments.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as the go-to expert on the Association’s Rules, providing advice and guidance to the Chair, Board, and CEO.
- Support the Chief Executive in shaping and delivering our corporate strategy.
- Take on key responsibilities as the Company Secretary, Data Protection Officer, and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Play a pivotal role as a member of the Corporate Management Team, contributing to the overall direction and success of IDS.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Company Secretary or equivalent professional with a strong governance background.
- Proven success in a senior role within a regulated environment, delivering governance, risk, and corporate services.
- Experience leading significant technical and organisational change.
- A collaborative leader with a track record of working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Skilled in research, analysis, and presenting complex information to senior leaders and Boards.
- Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships to support our mission and strategic goals.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
