From 27th October 2025 Awaab’s Law was introduced. This is a new regulation that strengthens protections for social housing residents and ensures damp and mould issues are treated with the urgency and seriousness they deserve.
At IDS your health, safety, and comfort in your home remain our top priority. Damp and mould can have a serious impact on both your property and your wellbeing. It’s therefore very important that you report any signs of damp or mould in your home as soon as you notice them.
Please contact EVO, our repairs contractor, immediately if you see:
- Mould growing on walls, ceilings, or windowsills
- Persistent condensation or a musty smell
- Damp patches, peeling paint, or discoloured plaster
The best way to report these issues is by using the EVO app allowing you to track, monitor, and modify your repairs requests. You can also report by calling EVO on 020 8691 9293 or by email at living@evo-pm.com.
Once reported, it’s essential that you allow access for inspections, assessments, and repair works to be carried out. This will help us resolve any problems quickly and prevent them from getting worse.
