
Michael Brodtman

At one time responsible for all UK service lines of CBRE Advisory UK, Michael brings a wealth of property experience to the IDS Board. Michael is a Non Executive Director of two FTSE 250 real estate companies; Target Healthcare REIT, which owns a national portfolio of prime modern care homes, and Grainger plc, the UK’s largest listed residential landlord. Michael is also a Trustee of Jewish Care, the leading health and social care charity for the Jewish Community in London and the South East.

Lee Bloomfield
Vice Chair of the IDS Board, Member of the Operations Committee, Chair of the Governance and People Committee
Lee is the Chief Executive of Manningham Housing Association which is provides housing to the diverse communities in Bradford. Prior to this role he was Chief Executive at Leeds Jewish Housing Association.
With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years in the social housing sector he has acquired extensive experience across a range of organisations including Local Authorities, ALMO’s and Housing Associations where he has showcased his expertise in corporate governance, business development, organisational change, and exceptional strategic leadership.

Simon Century
Board Member, Member of Asset and Investment Committee, Member of Audit and Risk Committee
Simon is Managing Director for Legal & General Housing, responsible for leading direct investments across residential real estate. He has founded multiple businesses whilst at L&G including its affordable housing arm, Legal & General Affordable Homes as well as Legal & General Suburban Build to Rent, the single-family rental business.
Simon’s career has spanned residential real estate, corporate finance and corporate strategy. Simon is a full Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, holds a Certificate in Investment Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and psychology degree from the University of Liverpool.

Jonathan Cooper
Board Member, Operations Committee Member, Member of Asset and Investment Committee
Jonathan is a Chartered Building Surveyor and Construction professional, having spent almost 20 years working in the construction and property industry. His early career started with private consultancy – working with a multitude of clients from education to housing. More recently, he has been working Client-side in the Public Sector, having previously led an Asset Management function for Westminster City Council’s Housing portfolio, consisting over 21,000 properties.
Jonathan now works for the City of London Corporation, leading planned investment and substantial refurbishment works across the majority of the City’s Corporate, Investment and Institutional portfolios. This covers an incredibly diverse range of historic assets from Tower Bridge and the Old Bailey to Independent Schools, Churches, Commercial office space and even Open Spaces such as Epping Forest and Hampstead Heath.

Ivan Ezekiel
Board Member, Member of the Audit and Risk Committee and Asset and Investment Committee
Ivan is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years commercial experience working as a CFO of UK publicly listed and private real estate companies. Prior to this Ivan worked at KPMG for 7 years, covering both audit and corporate tax for UK and international clients. He is presently CFO of a private real estate group.
Ivan is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. He graduated in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Debbie Fox
Board Member, Member of Operations Committee, Member of Governance and People Committee
Debbie Fox is a qualified solicitor with over 25 years of experience in the Not-for-Profit sector, holding executive, non-executive and trustee roles across several social care and other charities. Currently, Debbie is a co-founder and the Charity Lead of Behind Every Kick, a registered charity promoting social mobility and enhancing employment prospects for young Londoners.
She is a vice president of the Jewish Leadership Council, having served on the trustee board (including as vice chair) from 2014 to 2024, and is chair of lead for the leadership and training division of the Jewish Leadership Council. She is also a board member of The Rosetrees Trust, supporting cutting-edge medical research.
Debbie previously served as a trustee and Vice Chair of Jewish Care and as trustee of the mental health charity Jami. She trained and qualified as a solicitor specialising in Banking & Finance at Herbert Smith Freehills, spending over a decade post-qualification as a Senior Lecturer and later a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Law.

Kenny Johnson

Kenny has worked in housing for 20 years in operations and strategic roles, and he currently leads the City of Westminster’s Digital Services Programme. He is a senior leader in social housing and brings a wealth of experience and expertise in leading complex housing services, including housing management, property, and commercial operations.

Andrew Saunderson
Board Member, Chair of Asset and Investment Committee, Member of Audit and Risk Committee
Andrew has led the Residential Capital Markets team at CBRE since January 2022. Prior to joining CBRE, he was the Investment Director at Grainger plc, the UK’s largest listed residential landlord. In a career spanning 20 years, Andrew played a pivotal role in the growth of Grainger’s Build to Rent business which now comprises over 10,000 operational units alongside a development pipeline of c.8,000 homes. In addition, he was also responsible for the Asset Management teams.

Catriona Simons
Board Member, member of Asset and Investment Committee and member of Governance and People committee
Catriona is the Group Chief Executive of The Guinness Partnership. Before being appointed Chief Executive in 2015, Catriona had been Deputy Chief Executive since joining Guinness in December 2009. Prior to this, Catriona was Group Finance Director at Peabody, another large Housing Association. She started her career at Ernst & Young. She has been a Board Member of a number of housing associations.

Sahil Khan
Board Member, Member of Operations Committee
Sahil is Director of Community Strategy, Funding and Partnership at Peabody and has worked in the housing sector for over 15 years. Sahil’s previous roles have included Director of Community Investment at Catalyst and a trustee at Local Trust, a charity overseeing the distribution of £150m of funding to 150 neighbourhoods across England to enable community-led place-based social action.
Sahil started his career as a youth worker and has a long-standing interest in youth work, community development and social innovation. Sahil is committed to being an inclusive leader and is passionate about promoting diversity. Sahil is co-chair of the Peabody Race Equality Network and a founding member of HACT’s Racial Equality Group.
