Jonathan Gregory
Chief Executive
Before entering housing, Jonathan Gregory’s background was in social care, managing residential care, remand units and family assessment centres. He was formerly chair of his local fostering and adoption panel and was one of the first Conduct Committee chairs of the General Social Care Council, the social work regulator.
Omar Mapara
Director of Finance
Omar is a qualified accountant with extensive knowledge of housing association finance. He has over 30 years of experience and 25 years at Senior Level. He was previously Chief Executive of Spitalfields Housing Association and a former member of our Board. He oversees the finance and technology teams at the organisation. He is the responsible lead for compliance with the Financial Viability Standard, Rent Standard and Value for Money Standard.
Richard Smith
Director of Operations
Richard joined the organisation in July 2023, Richard has worked for housing associations for over a decade and manages our housing management and maintenance teams, focusing on service delivery for our residents. He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and is responsible for compliance with the Consumer Standards.
Raj Manik
HR Business Partner
Raj joined in October 2022 and is responsible for ensuring the people strategy is aligned and delivered to support all core areas of IDS business. With over 20 years of HR experience in both the public and not-for-profit sectors, Raj is passionate about delivering people-related solutions and enhancing employee experience. Raj is a chartered member of CIPD and sits on the health and safety committee as part of her remit.
Abbie Eales
Company Secretary
Abbie has over 20 years of experience in governance across a range of sectors, from education and health to social housing. She joined us in April 2024 to support the organisation as it went through its inspection by the Regulator of Social Housing. She supports the Board to comply with legal and regulatory obligations and is responsible for compliance with the Governance standards. She is also the Data Protection Officer.
Samuel Crabbe
Head of Finance
Samuel joined in April 2021. He is our Head of Finance and is responsible for the financial services and reporting to ensure that the financial management is of the highest standards and quality, therefore providing accurate information to our stakeholders for making decisions and strategic planning to meet our financial objectives and deliver value for money to our residents.
He has over 10 years of experience in senior housing finance roles in several organisations and has previously led finance teams in the retail and manufacturing sectors.
He is a qualified accountant and a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Alan Riggs
Head of Technology and Data
Alan joined in 2020 and is responsible for ensuring that technology, systems and data support the organisation’s operational and strategic aims and objectives. He has over 15 years of experience working in the social housing sector, with a strong background in technology, data, and business improvement.
Kim Ward
Head of Housing
Kim joined the organisation as Head of Housing in 2020. She has worked in housing management since 2009 and manages our estates, income, allocation and welfare support teams. She is passionate about excellent customer service and providing opportunities for residents to engage with us.
Wayne Burrough
Head of Assets Management & Compliance
Wayne joined the organisation in April 2024 as Head of Asset Management and Compliance. He has worked in building services within the social housing sector for over 27 years in a range of roles including Building Surveying and leading planned works teams delivering critical safety works. He now manages our Asset and Compliance teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements. Wayne holds a degree in Construction Management.
Gareth Brown
Head of Contract Management
Gareth joined in October 2022 to lead the contract management of our responsive repairs service. He has worked within social housing for over 20 years, including as a Senior Building Surveyor for a large local authority. Resident safety and property condition have always been a key focus in all his roles.
Now managing our repairs service, Gareth has been focusing on improving our services with the resident journey at the heart of his improvement plans. Gareth has a BSc in Building Surveying.
