Social Tenant Access to Information (STAIRs): Publication Scheme

We are committed to being open and transparent about how we work, the services we provide and the decisions we make.

What is STAIRS?

From 1 October 2026, housing providers must publish key information about how they manage homes.

Our Social Tenant Access to Information Publication Scheme brings together information about the management of our social housing, including our governance, finances, homes, services, performance, safety information and policies.

Information is organised into seven categories to help you find what you need. We keep the scheme under review and welcome suggestions from residents about information that should be included or made easier to find.

From April 2027, tenants will be able to ask for specific information about their housing, and landlords must respond within 30 days.

Need this information in another format?

If you need information in another accessible format, please contact our Governance Team (governance@ids.org.uk)
