Chair of IDS joined IDS in 2015. He is also currently a trustee member of Taylor Wimpey UK, and previously held director positions in Finance, Commercial and Business Strategy over his thirty-year career.
An accomplished business developer with experience of introducing new networking solutions to the service provider market. Proven analytical and communication skills, with the ability to develop mutually beneficial customer relationships.
Shimon Ryde (Joint Vice-Chair)
Also a Board member of AIHA and holds the following committee positions: Vice-Chairman of Housing Committee, Chairman of the Finchley and Golders Green Residents Forum, member of the Finchley and Golders Green Area Planning Committee, Performance and Contract Management Committee, and Corporate Parenting Advisory Panel.
An IDS Trustee and also an Advisory Board member for Chai Cancer Care. In the past, he’s held executive directorships in different companies and was a General manager for London Jewish Cultural Centre, responsible for major projects (eg Capital expenditure, web design & delivery in the digitalization of History).
Michael is currently a partner of Begbies. He has held the position as managing partner in Price Firman prior to the merger with Begbies in 2015, where he was responsible for all commercial matters and negotiated the merger of the two firms.
Susan French brings over 25 year’s senior housing experience to the Board.
She started her career at L&Q and, while at Hyde, set up and ran a large PFI contract, managing over 6,000 homes on behalf of Islington Council. She has also worked as a senior housing consultant.
She is currently Chief Executive of Barnsbury Housing Association, a small HA based in Islington.
She lives in North London.
Paul currently advises companies in the real estate and finance sectors, with over 30 years’ experience.
Paul is currently a non-executive director at Town Centre Securities plc, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, a non-executive director at Galliard Homes Ltd, a major UK home builder and a non-executive director of Life At Ltd, a London residential estate agency.
Paul is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser.
Following a career in corporate law at Slaughter and May and Investment Banking at Schroders and Citigroup, Alan runs his own investment company and both sits on the boards of, and advises, a number of companies, principally in consumer facing industries.
Alan was formerly Deputy Chair of Governors at University College School and is currently a Governor at Henrietta Barnett School
Nicola is Head of Private Client Real Estate at Memery Crystal LLP where she has been a partner for over 10 years. She works within the Real Estate development and investment sectors
Craig is a Director of Operations at Leeds Jewish Housing Association and has been involved in social housing for over 10 years. Craig is a chartered member of the Institute of Housing and has a Masters in Social Housing. Craig has also worked has also worked in numerous roles within the Leeds Jewish Community in his 20 year career.
