About the role
IDS are looking for a building surveyor who will provide an excellent and professional housing maintenance service. You will be responsible for the specification, issue, supervision and monitoring of repairs related building maintenance.
This includes repair and maintenance, void works, refurbishment, adaptations, modernisation and improving and servicing of properties to meet customer expectations. You will also ensure all responsive repairs works are carried out to the required standard, quality and value for money. This will also include the managing of Disrepair cases.
Technical knowledge around damp and mould will be required understanding the causes and solutions to eradicate these conditions within our stock. Ideally someone who can carry out a variety of surveys including maintenance repairs, voids, disrepair and Damp, mould and condensation surveys, producing robust reports including technical specifications.
About us
We are looking for someone who will have previous surveying experience. A Minimum of Degree or HND/HNC in Surveying/construction or equivalent and relevant work experience is required. Previous Housing Association Experience is a preferable. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams, including repairs surveyors etc.
